The first to bring brands like MAC and Shu Uemura to the UK market, Harvey Nichols has always known a thing or two about beauty and its latest opening is the jewel in the crown.
Part of the iconic store’s floor-by-floor makeover, The Beauty Lounge is a glossy space dedicated to express services and innovative brands from the world over. It is also the first in the city to offer an unbiased Beauty Concierge service – a team of beauty experts on hand to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Essentially a stylist for your beauty bag.
Open early until late, the luxurious lounge offers an array of exclusive services including The Light Salon, which uses near-infrared light to rejuvenate the skin, Daxita Russian lashes – a firm favourite of beauty editors everywhere, Nails inc and a new outpost of the Hershesons Blow Dry Bar.
It is also the first central London location to house the Nosh Infusion Clinic, where clients can choose from a menu of vitamin drips and injections for an instant boost from the inside out.
Alongside the unparalleled treatment menu, the new-look department is also home to a host of leading beauty brands including Chantecaille, Delilah and Surratt. The second phase of the Ground Floor revamp will open in September with big names such as Dior and Charlotte Tilbury, a bespoke Chanel boutique and a fragrance hall dedicated to new, niche names such as cult Parisian perfumer, Ex Nihilo.
