Go Speed Dating with Your Dog this Valentine’s Day

If your dog is the love of your life, then this Valentine’s dating event is for you…

Pet Pavilion, the ‘one-stop-shop’ pet emporium, is inviting single ‘pawrents’ looking for love to join them for their very first speed dating event – with doggies in tow.

Taking place on Wednesday 13 February 2019 at The Market Place Restaurant in Chelsea Farmers Market, Pet Pavilion is inviting 30 human guests and their four-legged companions to participate in a free evening of ‘fun and flirting’.

‘We’ve wanted to host an event like this for a while now,’ said Pet Pavilion’s Alex Saville-Edells, ‘and what better way for single people who share a love of dogs to meet?!

‘The dogs being there will be an ice breaker, a topic to discuss to help get the conversation started and guests will be reassured knowing they already have at least one thing in common!’

Guests will have 3-4 minutes to become acquainted with the dog-lover sitting opposite them (and make the most of happy hour from 6pm-7pm), while the dogs too can get acquainted over complimentary pawsecco, doggy treats and a goody bag to take home.

‘Dogs have very strong instincts,’ adds Alex, ‘so if your dog isn’t a fan of the person sitting in front of you, then perhaps they’re not a potential suitor, let alone your perfect match.

‘There are so many dog-lover dating websites and new apps coming out this year that clearly there’s demand for opportunities to date with your dog!’

The Valentine’s speed dating with your dog event takes place on 13 February from 6pm-8pm. Single pet-lovers can apply to attend by completing a short questionnaire online.

Pet Pavilion has boutique stores and grooming salons in Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill, Wimbledon, Battersea and Hampstead.
