In the words of the inimitable Coco Chanel, ‘Fashion fades, only style remains the same’.
Never were truer words spoken, and while spring-summer 2020 fashion may have taken a back seat to cosy lockdown comfortwear, timeless jewellery pieces will endure forever – adding a little sparkle to the everyday.
So if you’re looking for one-off affordable vintage or antique jewellery that you can buy online and have delivered, check out Elmwood’s special online charity auction.
Taking place on Thursday 23 April 2020 at 2pm, the charity auction aims to raise money for the most vulnerable members in our communities affected by the Covid-19 crisis.
Elmwood’s, a young dynamic online specialist jewellery auction house in Notting Hill, reflects the zeitgeist in today’s vintage and antique jewellery buying.
Founded just two and half years ago, Elmwood’s now holds two auctions a month throughout the year, with each sale boasting an average of 300 beautiful and timeless pieces of jewellery.
The sale is one of the first Covid-19 charity events run by an auction house, with Elmwood’s donating all of its profits to the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal, launched to help those most affected by the recent Covid-19 outbreak.

Already the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal has received support from such names as Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Asprey, Jess Glynne and organisations like The Big Give and Sky Sports.
For those new to buying at an online auction, Elmwood’s takes you through every step of the process.
Not only is buying at auction an exciting experience, it also gives you the opportunity to find wonderful and rare jewellery pieces at competitive prices, while you remain in charge of what you are willing to pay.
For those of you who would rather not do the bidding, Elmwood’s also offers a great personal service for absentee bidders at no extra cost.
All the lots in the sale are beautifully displayed on Elmwood’s online catalogue, complete with descriptions and price/lot estimates.
