Dating App Reveals Most ‘Right-Swiped’ Occupations for Millennials

The world’s largest dating app, Badoo, has revealed the most right-swiped jobs in the UK for Millennials, and it’s not what you’d expect…

When people think of sexy professions, it’s likely that men in uniform and female supermodels spring to mind. However, new research from dating app, Badoo, has revealed the most right-swiped jobs for men and women. Having delved into its database, surveying 5,000 Brit’s between the ages of 18 and 30, Badoo has found some surprising professions topping the lists of UK singles.

The most right-swiped jobs for men:

  • Chef
  • Engineer
  • Entrepreneur
  • Marketing
  • Artist

The most right-swiped jobs for women:

  • Hairdresser
  • Nurse
  • Lawyer
  • Entrepreneur
  • Teacher

It looks like both men and women have a thing entrepreneurial types, but interestingly chefs, despite the long hours they work, tops the list of most right-swiped for men, while men seem to have a thing for hairdressers and, perhaps unsurprisingly, nurses.

Badoo was founded in 2006 by Andrey Andreev and has since cemented itself as the world’s largest social discovery network, with over 380 million users, 60 million active users each month, 300,000 daily sign-ups, 600 million swipes each day and 6 million matches each day. It also has a number of other successful brands under its umbrella, including the feminist dating app, Bumble.

So if you’re looking for someone to nurse you back to health on one of those hungover Sundays, or a chef to spruce up your avocado on toast, get swiping!
