Why buy flowers for Mother’s Day when you can buy mum a subscription to a cool, contemporary flower delivery service?
Flowers deserve to be seen at their very best, so the newly launched London-based Bloomon has cut out the middleman, delivering contemporary straight-to-vase flower arrangements straight from the grower to your home anywhere within the M25.
Bloomon, which began life in its hometown of Amsterdam in 2014, launched its flower delivery subscription service in London on 4 February 2016. The company uses its own growers, carefully selecting the best quality flowers and using its own drivers to deliver fresher flowers that last longer – straight from the field to door.
Each bouquet is different from the last, devotedly seasonal and distinctively styled with stems of varying length, specially created by Anton, Bloomon’s resident stylist. Anton, known from his regular TV appearances, elegantly designs each hand-tied arrangement, ready to be placed directly into specially created glass vases. Every element has been carefully thought through – even the packaging is cool and quirky, both protecting the flowers and educating consumers on caring for their flowers with cute little captions.
You can choose how often you’d like to have your flowers delivered – weekly, fortnightly or monthly – and there are no delivery charges, a small bouquet is £20.95; medium, £24.95; large, £31.95.
And they do last, as we discovered when we had a bouquet delivered to the office. Here’s our bouquet on day five:
