Each session will include the full 90-minute Up at The O2 climbing experience, pausing at the summit 52 metres above the arena roof where yoga instructor Craig Norris will guide a 50-minute yoga class. Prices start at £50 and spaces are limited.

First up, Aviary is partnering with triyoga to run yoga classes from 21 June, International Yoga Day, until 29 June. From 19 July it’s BXR with its signature SWEAT class, then, from 16 August its En Avant Ballet with Royal Ballet-trained dancer and teacher, Karis Scarlette. 3 Sunrise Yoga, The Shard
While this one may not be outside, Sunrise Yoga at The Shard is still quite the experience. Hosted on the 24th floor of one of Europe’s tallest buildings, this class has all the benefits of rooftop yoga (think views) while keeping you sheltered from the elements. Yogasphere will be hosting early Monday morning yoga and meditation classes, taught by Yogasphere founder Leo Lourdes and accompanied by spectacular views. Suitable for any age and skill level. A MoveGB membership is required.

4 Neverland London, Fulham Beach Club
Yoga on the beach is a pretty novel in London, so head for Neverland London before the summer season is over. Surrounded by palm trees, water and a sandy beach, you’ll be transported to a tropical paradise for your yoga class, with sand between your toes and the Thames lapping nearby. Classes are led by Cassie McClements of Find the Om every Saturday from 10.15am-11.30am. Yoga in the sand has extra benefits – the unstable surface means you need to work harder to keep your balance, so ditch the studio and head for the beach instead. Tickets are £16.

5 Summer Rooftop Yoga at Madison, St Paul’s
Back for another year, Summer Rooftop Yoga at Madison takes place on the restaurant’s rooftop terrace from 7am every Wednesday morning this summer, from June to August. Instructor Sophie Dear of Sophie’s Fitness will be teaching her vinyasa flow yoga classes to get your day off to a good start. Classes are £13 and run for one hour. Don’t forget to bring your mat!

6 Sunrise Yoga & Breakfast at Sky Garden
This one isn’t alfresco, but at 36 floors up you probably wouldn’t want it to be… Sky Garden in the Walkie Talkie is hosting yoga classes with a view among the tropical greenery of the 36th floor observatory. This class, suitable for all skill levels, will be followed by a continental breakfast at Darwin Brasserie on weekdays, while smoothies, muffins and pastries are offered on weekends at Sky Pod Bar. Classes take place at 6.30am from Tuesday-Friday, 8am on Saturdays and 8.30am on Sundays, lasting one hour. Tickets are £10-£22.

7 Wanderlust 108, Battersea Park

Wanderlust, producers of the largest yoga lifestyle events in the world, will be hosting Wanderlust 108 on 15 September at Battersea Park. Wanderlust 108 will include a Mindful Triathlon consisting of a 5K run/walk, a 90-minute yoga session led by Julie Montagu, and a 30-minute mass meditation. This will all be alongside The Uncommons featuring acro-yoga, aerial yoga, hula-hooping, organic and artisan food and lifestyle markets, as well as a new Tea Garden and Speakeasy. 7.30am-5pm. 8 Morning Gloryville’s Fifth Birthday Party – The Five Senses Special, Studio 338
Morning Gloryville is celebrating its fifth birthday in style on Saturday 7 July. Taking place at Studio 338, this huge event will feature six whole hours of sober raving with yoga classes by More Yoga, a massage station and plenty of healthy food options. And of course, there will be a dance floor, hosting a secret superstar DJ to be announced at a later date (previous DJs include Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx and Carl Cox). Studio 338 has recently been refurbished and relaunched following a tragic fire a couple of years ago, so this is a great way to show the North Greenwich venue some love. Tickets do sell out so book asap!
