Battersea Dogs and Cats Home are hoping that Valentine’s Day will inspire romantic souls to help homeless cats find a good home
Five lonely cats from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home are putting themselves out there, hoping to find loving homes this Valentine’s Day. Battersea Dogs and Cats Home has rehomed an impressive 3.1 million dogs and cats since its establishment in 1860, and wants to help these five cats find happy homes – some are older, others are simply down on their luck, but all of these kitties have been homeless for long enough. Prepare yourself for cuteness and see what the Battersea Lonely Hearts Cattery Club is looking for…
1 Teddy: The ‘Clooney of cats’, Teddy is a dignified cat whose previous owner passed away. Sweet and affectionate, Teddy needs a good home where he’ll get lots of love.
2 Mildred: Mildred is independent and enjoys time on her own, but she loves head rubs. Other interests include intrepid exploration of the outdoors and catnip.
3 Lolo: Lolo is a lovely black cat with a mysterious way about her. Lolo has been at Battersea for over 300 days. She’s very independent and loves napping in sunbeams. She’s very loyal when she’s treated right.
4 Molly: A beautiful tortoiseshell cat, Molly is a two-time patron of Battersea, ready for a permanent loving home. She’s very independent but also a snuggler.
5 Lulu: Sweet and shy, Lulu can be timid, but once her trust is earned, she’s very affectionate. She lived out her younger years in a barn so her ideal partner likes the quiet life too, and keeps a peaceful home.
If you find yourself wanting a furry companion to curl up next to you, a quiet, self-sufficient buddy to guard your flat while you’re gone, a purring friend to nap on your laptop, give a member of the Battersea Lonely Hearts Cattery Club a shot at a happy home this Valentine’s Day.
