1 Zip Now London partners with Match.com for a unique speed dating experience
Zip Now London, which recently launched the ultimate camping experience and the world’s first augmented reality city centre zip wire experience, has partnered with Match.com to set the dating scene alight. Thrill seekers and love junkies can now book a spot to an exciting group dating activity taking place on 6 September. This is the second Match.com event with Zip Now this summer, with over 80 people expected to fly through the skies, bringing new meaning to the term speed dating, with people partnering up on the wire to get hearts racing in more way than one. The night will start with a non-alcoholic drink and snacks, before a ride on the zip wire. Afterwards, quench your thirst with an alcoholic drink and a mingle. £32 for members and £37 for non-members.

2 Chocolate Making Masterclass & Axe Throwing with My Friend Charlie
Unlike other dating platforms, My Friend Charlie organises blind group dating events to ease the pressure of the one-on-one dating experience. In essence, you sign up for a group date activity as opposed to the person you’ll be meeting. These events are all exciting opportunities to meet new people and experience something new. Coming up is a Chocolate Making Masterclass at My Chocolate in Islington on 14 September, where you can learn to make delicious truffles while mastering professional chocolatiering techniques, meeting fellow singles along the way. If you don’t meet ‘the one’, at least you’ll have chocolate! Then there’s Axe Throwing at Whistle Punks in Vauxhall on 28 September, but don’t worry, you won’t be throwing them at each other! This adrenaline-filled experience is a great way to let go of past heartbreak as you meet new potential love interests. LGBTQ+ dates are coming soon.

3 The Music Sounds Better with You, Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen
Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen is launching a monthly speed dating night for music aficionados. If you’re sick of being a slave to the dating app algorithm, then head to Hoxton for a night of tunes, drinks and chat as you bond over what really matters – music! The Music Sounds Better with You is the latest installment of Last Night a Speed Date Changed My Life, launching on Tuesday 11 September. Simply prep your dessert island playlist, take along your headphones and share your top singles with other, um, singles! You’ll meet other singles within your age range in a series of four-minute face-to-face pre-dates. Share the music you love and, at the end of the four minutes, the gents jump to the next date. Note the people you would like to meet again on a confidential sheet, hand it in to the hosts and you’ll be notified of any ‘mutual matches’ within 48 hours. Tickets £15-£25. Starts 7.30pm.
