On 3 June 2017 EcoWorld Ballymore will release for sale 25 apartments overlooking London’s coolest swimming pool – the Sky Pool at the landmark Embassy Gardens development
A world-first in swimming pool design, the 10-storey high splash-about is entirely transparent and structure free. Designed by Arup Associates, with specialist input from Eckersley O’Callaghan and aquarium designers Reynolds, the experience provides a unique – and somewhat scary – view of the capital.
The 25m long, 5m wide and 3m deep pool links two residential buildings and allows residents to swim from one building to the next. The new luxury one and two bedroom homes, located on the 10th floor or higher, overlook the pool deck and start from £1million.
The private sky-deck, sitting atop the two buildings, provides an enviable vantage point of the Nine Elms regeneration area and London’s iconic skyline, incorporating a spa, summer bar and Orangery. Wellbeing is central to the development, with apartments designed to provide a tranquil living environment and a variety of landscaped green and open spaces incorporating wildflowers and foliage to create a place of respite for residents. A new linear park will link Vauxhall to Battersea Park via Embassy Garden’s Union Square.
The development’s private members club raises the bar on residential development amenities in London
As part of the launch, a number of garden apartments will also be available for purchase, starting from £650,000. In total the development will provide nearly 2,000 new homes for Londoners and the first phase of the development is already complete and occupied.
Residents will become members of the EG:LE club, an exclusive private members club which raises the bar on residential development amenities in London. The completed facilities include a private screening room, gym, yoga studio, therapy room, traditional library, lounge area, business suite and, of course, the Sky Pool.
The development is a 10-minute walk from Vauxhall Station and the extension of the Northern Line will see the opening of two new stations at Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station.
