Foodies Festival, the UK’s biggest celebration of food, drink and wellbeing with 10 festival sites across the UK, including Syon Park, Oxford and Edinburgh, returns to Blackheath this summer following its 2016 debut, and you could win VIP tickets…
The Resident has teamed up with Foodies Festival Blackheath to offer five pairs of VIP day tickets (worth up to £48), plus five general entry day tickets (worth up to £16) to runners up.

Chefs Theatre in Association with Stoves
Foodie fans can look forward to a celebrity and Michelin-starred chef line-up in the Chefs Theatre this summer, with Britain’s top chefs showcasing their culinary skills and inspiring the audience with their delicious dishes. Expect the likes of Rosemary Shrager, Atul Kochhar, Dhruv Baker and more.
Cakes & Desserts Theatre
From Great British Bake Off winners and top local cake-makers and patisserie chefs, the Cakes and Desserts theatre is set to expand to include not only brilliant bakers, but also local chefs renowned for their outstanding desserts.
Kids Zone and Kids Cookery School
The Kids Cookery School is a chance for the whole family to join in while the children are introduced to new food and flavours from around the world. There will be fun science-inspired kids cookery with Kiddy Cook leading classes on ‘Marvellous Microbes’, science experiments you can eat, making sherbet and ‘Fizz! Bang! Wallop!’ classes on how Co2 makes dough rise as they make bread bubble bombs, carbon dioxide rockets and delicious dough balls with homemade garlic butter with the kids.
Expert mixologists and sommeliers, including Neil Phillips and Charles Metcalfe, will host a full timetable of masterclasses on wine, whisky and champagne and cheese tastings in the Drinks Theatre each day.
Street Food Avenue
Now in its 12th year, Foodies Festival attracts street food vendors from around the world, offering visitors the chance to take a culinary trip around the world.
