Calling all doughnut lovers… to celebrate National Doughnut Week, Whole Foods Market in Kensington is giving away a whopping 1,000 FREE doughnuts!
National Doughnut Week, which runs from 11-18 May, is more than just a wonderful excuse for gluttony, it’s actually all for a good cause – this rather special week in May encourages bakers, coffee shops, offices, schools and more to sell doughnuts to raise funds for The Children’s Trust.
‘I do hope that bakers, coffee shops and the public will get behind this year’s National Doughnut Week and help to raise as much money as possible for a very special charity,’ said Phil Tufnell, an Ambassador of The Children’s Trust (and a talented artist, as we recently discovered on BBC One’s Celebrity Painting Challenge).
So how does one get one’s hands on said free doughnuts? Simply head to the Made Right Here in-store bakery at Whole Foods Market on Kensington High Street from 3pm on Monday 13 May and choose from either chocolate or jam filled beignets – you don’t even have to buy anything!
