Peckham does pretty well for rooftop bars. As well as the legendary Frank’s Cafe atop the Peckham Multi-Storey Car Park, the Rooftop Film Club atop the Bussey Building has a pretty nifty bar too. And now The London Beer Factory is now launching its very own pop-up bar, also atop the Bussey Building (it’s a big building), on Friday 7 July 2017.
Located on D-Roof, the Bussey Beer Garden offers a range of craft beers from south east London-based The London Beer Factory and other breweries from across the UK and around the world – there are 15 keg lines to choose from in total. Soak it all up with street food eats from either The Joint (Brixton’s beautifully barbecued pulled pork wraps and burgers) or Babek Brothers’ gourmet kebabs.
The London Beer Factory is also set to host the Peckham Craft Beer Festival, a one-day free event taking place at Copeland Park on 22 July. Over 20 independent breweries are taking part, including Gipsy Hill Brewing Company, Canopy Beer Co, Brick Brewery, Brixton Brewery, Gosnell’s Mead, Fourpure Brewing Co, The Five Points Brewing Company, and more. There will also be live music, DJs and various food traders including pizza by Made of Dough and meatballs by Belpassi Bros.
Peckham Craft Beer Festival takes place from 12-noon-11pm on 22 July. The event is free but you must register beforehand at peckhamcraftbeerfestival.com. Address: 133 Copeland Road, Peckham SE15 3SN
