Brunch is back! Coq d’Argent, the popular rooftop restaurant in the City, is launching Rosé on the Roof, and it’s just the kind of alfresco affair we’ve been waiting for…
Coq d’Argent, the French restaurant in the City, is launching a new Rosé on the Roof brunch on Saturday 11 July 2020.
The new weekly brunch menu, created in partnership with premium rosé, M de Minuty, is inspired by the laid-back lunches of the South of France.
Executive Head Chef Damien Rigollet has created a menu full of classic French dishes found in Toulouse, Nice, Saint-Tropez and other parts of southern France, all of which will be complemented by the aromatic M de Minuty Rosé, produced in Provence.
Coq d’Argent’s terrace will be transformed into a botanical retreat filled with lavender, lemon trees, orange blossom and plants inspired by alfresco restaurants found on the French Riviera – ideal for leafy alfresco affair with a crisp glass of rosé in hand. Alternatively, you can dine inside the restaurant.
You can order M de Minuty by the glass, bottle or even a magnum, and once finished you’re welcome to stroll around the rooftop admiring London’s skyline.
Menu highlights include fromage de chèvre (Poitou goats’ cheese pastry parcel with pepper piperade), coq au vin (braised, marinated chicken in red wine and mushrooms), loup de mer (seared fillet of seabass with chive pomme purée and curried fish velouté) and thon rouge (yellow fin tuna with Provençal vegetables, basil pesto and mango and chilli salsa).
The Rose on the Roof brunch is priced £29.50 for two courses or £34.50 for three courses and is available every Saturday from 11 July 2020 (12pm-4pm).
