Hawksmoor Borough is reopening evenings only, followed by reopenings in Seven Dials on 21 July, Spitalfields on 24 July, Mayfair on 28 July, Knightsbridge on 31 July and Guildhall on 1 September

Palace stalwart Joanna’s reopened on 17 July with reduced opening hours: Weds-Fri 12pm-3pm & 6pm-9pm, Sat 10am-9pm, Sun 10am-11.30pm & 12.15pm-4.30pm. Bookings only

The Crystal Palace Market, Crystal Palace
Reopened on 4 July with new opening hours (Thurs 6pm-10.30pm, Fri 6pm-11pm⁣, Sat 10am-5pm & 6pm-11pm and Sun 10am-5pm & 6pm-10.30pm)

The Sparrowhawk, Crystal Palace
The Sparrowhawk is back, taking bookings for dining-in. The Sunday roasts to go are still available too⁣⁣⠀

Southwark Playhouse, Elephant & Castle
Southwark Playhouse has reopened its bar and ‘secret clubhouse’. The bar opening hours are generally Weds-Fri 5pm-11pm and Sat 12pm-11pm, but do check before travelling as these may change. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are fine

Mercato Metropolitano, Elephant & Castle
The street food hub and micro-brewery is back with food traders, fresh groceries, an artisanal deli and more outdoor seating options

Toulouse Lautrec, Elephant & Castle
One of Elephant & Castle’s best kept secrets, Toulouse Lautrec reopened its doors on 4 July, with live music to follow hopefully from 1 August

Babur, Forest Hill
Forest Hill’s legendary contemporary Indian restaurant is back

The Guildford Arms, Greenwich
The Guildford Arms combines the best of both worlds – great pub garden and top notch dining – and it reopened on 16 July

Bill’s, Greenwich
Bill’s on Nelson Road, right opposite Greenwich Market, reopened on 17 July as the phased reopening of its London locations continues (Hammersmith also opened on the 17th and the Wimbledon branch has been open a while)

Greenwich Grind
Greenwich Grind reopened for weekend brunches, served from 9am-6.30pm, 18 July. Bookings for groups of up to six are available and some tables will be held for walk-ins. The grab-and-go counter is still open for takeaway

The modern European restaurant from Salon’s Nicholas Balfe is back

Coal Rooms, Peckham
Coal Rooms is currently open for Sunday roasts and will be expanding its opening hours to Thur-Sat evenings, serving a five-course tasting menu, from 16 July

southwark

Seabird, Southwark
Seabird seafood restaurant at The Hoxton, Southwark, makes the most of its rooftop terrace

Union Street Cafe, Southwark
The Gordon Ramsay Group has reopened all its restaurants and selected venues, including Union Street Cafe, have a new Love London menu with two courses for £15 each when you dine with a friend (6 July-6 September)

Gaucho, Tower Bridge
The steak restaurant is reopening its branches across London with a new reduced contact ‘Mindful Dining’ service, starting with Broadgate, Canary Wharf, Hampstead, Richmond, Piccadilly, Tower Bridge and Sloane Avenue. The O2 Greenwich is opening soon
