Gordon Ramsay’s London House opening 4th Feb

Located in South West London’s historic Battersea Square, the venue opens after an extensive three-month remodel that has seen a complete refurbishment of the interior. The space will offer a new and exciting destination that promises to be a welcome addition to this leafy, riverside neighbourhood.

Market driven with a strong focus on quality British produce, Irish born Head Chef Anna Haugh-Kelly will create a menu influenced by her wealth of international experience from some of the finest kitchens in Ireland, France, Spain, London and most recently, Los Angeles.

Dishes like Crab and Scallop Tortellini with Black Radish and Crab Broth and Roasted Venison Haunch with Cauliflower Purée and Lentil Ragout and to follow, Frozen Nougatine with Rhubarb Purée will feature on the European inspired menu celebrating the best in season.

Joining Anna at London House will be Restaurant Manager Paul Halliwell who has a wealth of experience through a career spanning 17 years including The Glasshouse in Kew, Odette’s in Primrose Hill and most recently La Trompette in Chiswick.

The main dining space is contemporary in feel in shades of dark blue-grey with well spaced tables, soft leather seating complimented with dark stained wooden floor and is linked by smaller private areas offering a vibrant yet warm, intimate dining experience.

The original wood and copper-topped long bar has been restored to become a central feature. Guests will be invited to enjoy bespoke and classic cocktails, as well as London bottled beers in the elegant sitting room at one end, whilst chilled starters and desserts will be offered direct from the other.

In addition guests will have views through glass wall partitions into the restaurant’s Wine Room, with auction finds and bin-ends for selection.

The separate sitting room lounge has its own distinct feel in textures of sapphire velvet and burgundy leather. Bespoke cathedral glass windows offer privacy and reflect the colours of the room. Painted wood paneling, mirrored glass, a feature fireplace and coffered ceiling will further add to the feeling of indulgent relaxation.

Designed with a combination of simplicity and elegance, London House offers the perfect setting for a meal or evening cocktail.
