Hurrah, we’re allowed to see our friends again! From 29 March 2021 the rule of six kicks back in, meaning you can meet outdoors in groups of up to six, or two households. But with indoor gatherings still restricted, it looks like picnics will be hot property this summer. Fortunately, 21st-century picnic operations are popping up to save you the bother of raiding the nearest shop for cheese, olives and sausage rolls. All your summer socialising woes are solved! (Except rain – we suggest investing in a decent cagoule.)
