Following the success of The Shed restaurant in Notting Hill, the Gladwin brothers Richard, Oliver and Gregory have decided to open a new venue, Rabbit in Chelsea
Aficionados of Notting Hill’s excellent The Shed restaurant will be delighted to hear that the brothers Gladwin are opening another establishment this month. Launching in the King’s Road, the emphasis – as with the first spot – will be on sustainable food sourced from their farm in West Sussex, and served with some award-winning local wines. The restaurant takes its name from the ‘ethos of sustainability and British wild food that the Gladwins are dedicated to.’
Rabbit’s menu will be divided into mouthfuls, slow cooking and fast cooking. Mouthfuls will include dishes such as: Veal Twig with Pineapple Weed, Violet Pickled Quail’s Egg with Celery Salt, Beef Cheek Bonbons with Mustard, and Mushroom Marmite with Confit Egg Yolk.
