The nation’s favourite selection box is getting an indulgent makeover courtesy of the skilled friers at Poppies Fish and Chips in Soho.
What could be better than a Toffee Finger? A deep-fried Toffee Finger – obvs – which the Poppies’ team has singled out as the best of the battered Quality Street bunch.
In fact, because everyone loves a good argument – sorry, debate – around the Christmas table, they’ve ranked the top 10 of the brightly coloured oh-just-one-more chocs as follows:

The deep fried Quality Street will be available from 1-25 December as a lucky dip selection to enjoy in house or takeaway, priced £2.50 for five (pre-orders for the full selection of Quality Street will be taken).
