A Pop-Up Ice Cream Phone Box is Coming to London

Make hay while the sun shines, Londoners – the capital is getting its very own ice cream phone box! But be quick, the pop-up will be in place for just two days…

The Halo Top Hotline is being set up by Halo Top Creamery to celebrate the launch of its brand-new snackable ice cream sticks by giving away more than 10,000 free samples on 11-12 April 2019.

A humble red phone box – a British cultural icon – will be transformed into an insta-worthy birthday cake-themed freezer and filled with Halo Top sticks, and 5,000 will be up for grabs for free each day between 11am-6pm, on a first-come, first-served basis.

And where will this magical frozen telephone box be located? In Russell Square, so you know where to head for your lunch break on Thursday and Friday.

LA-based Halo Top first launched its iconic tubs in the UK in January 2018, becoming an instant ice cream sensation with its collection of low-calorie dairy and non-dairy tubs.

The new sticks – available in four flagship flavours (Sea Salt Caramel, Peanut Butter Swirl, Birthday Cake and the brand-new Strawberry Cheesecake) – contain just 80-100 calories and 7-10 grams of sugar each.

Out-of-towners can take advantage of the Halo Top Hotline, which will give fans across the country to get their hands on the sticks for free – just call the hotline on 0800 324 7904.

The ice-cream hotline will operate from Monday to Friday for six weeks from 11 April 2019, and one winner a day for 30 days will be picked to win a stash of the four brand-new Halo Top sticks multipacks.

You can also buy them from Tesco for £5 per pack. See halotop.uk/new for further details.
