Riding House Café (Fitzrovia)
The team behind Riding House Café have introduced a Riding House at Home New Year Box that serves two generously for £140. The box contains Taittinger Champagne Punch, artichoke dip with grilled flatbread, salt and sugar-cured salmon with cucumber, fermented chilli and beetroot, oak-smoked duck with puffed barley, quince, umeboshi and maple, 500g 32 day-aged cote de boeuf with crispy new potatoes & mustard sauce, truffled mac & cheese, shallot rings & capers, kale, chilli & garlic. Also included are Snaffling Pig pork scratchings & beer sticks, sticky toffee & brandy pudding, Mince Pie Shooters, seasonal table decorations, a party playlist and a drinking game. You can also add on a New Year’s Day Brunch box for £38. Due for delivery on 30 December.
MyLahore Festive Sharing Boxes (Barking)
MyLahore, the nation’s favourite British Asian Kitchen with locations across the UK from London to Yorkshire, offers eight sharing boxes to be enjoyed at home, with festive options (including a whole Roasted Turkey alongside Tandoori Sprouts, Roasted Veg, Butter Squash, Lemon Rice and Gravy) still available. For New Year’s Eve, consider the Mix Starter Box 1 or Mix Starter Box 2, both £29.99 and serving five people with sharing party dishes such as Chicken Malai Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kebab, Chana Chaat, Chicken Drumsticks and Papri Chaat. NYE at Home with Virtual de Lux (online only)
Virtual de Lux, London’s premium restaurant delivery concept, has developed a series of new luxury feasting menus ranging in price from £200 to £3,000. Choose from the likes of the Bacàn ‘Cena de Navidad’ for four people, featuring Peruvian plates like ceviche salads, grilled octopus, seabass and braised ox cheeks, plus a bottle of wine (£200), to Sumosan Twiga’s Ultra Deluxe New Year’s Eve Menu, featuring 10 spectacular courses from lobster salad and king crab leg, to Japanese wagyu beef sirloin and a whole panettone for dessert, plus two fine wines (£3,000). Those anticipating a hangover should consider Manhattan Kitchen’s The Morning After the Night Before delivery, featuring comfort foods and Bloody Marys (£200 for four people).
For £82 for two, the four-course set menu, created by Head Chef Joe Fox, features Raw Winter Vegetables with Anchovy Sauce, Townsend Prawn Cocktail, Rib of Native Breed Beef with Truffled Potato Cake and Creamed Spinach, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Run and White Chocolate Cream. You can also add in extras to make the evening even more special, and there’s a vegetarian option for £72. Orders must be placed by 27 December.
SMOKESTAK’s DIY NYE Party (Shoreditch)
East London barbecue restaurant SMOKESTAK is offering two special DIY boxes for a New Year’s Eve stuck at home. There’s the NYE party box for two (£75), packed with a pound each of 15-hour beef brisket and native-breed pulled pork shoulder with house barbecue and pickled cucumber, two jacket potatoes with mustard rarebit, coal-roasted aubergine with red miso butter and toasted cashews, sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel and two spiced pear fizz cocktails. The NYD hangover box for two (£45) features four pillowy buns ready to be stuffed full of brisket, house barbecue sauce and pickled red chilli, plus hash browns and bottled Bloody Mary for two. Available for nationwide delivery on 31 December. Order by 29 December at 6pm latest. Reheat and assembly instructions are included in each box.
Harrods on Deliveroo (Knightsbridge)
In a further step to deliver first class at-home dining experiences, Harrods has signed up with Deliveroo to offer those living within a 2.5-mile radius of the iconic Knightsbridge a touch of glamour while dining at home this New Year’s Eve. Order in bespoke meals created in Harrods famed Dining Halls, with ready-to-eat options such as a whole chicken from The Grill’s rotisserie or the Fish Bar’s most decadent fish and chips, all paired perfectly with a range of premium beers and wines. You can also order from Harrods Fresh Food Halls, with over 210 menu options from Harrods British Cheese platter to a show-stopping beef Wellington and a Harrods champagne hamper, as well as from Harrods concession restaurants including Kama by Vineet, The Sushi Bar and Chai Wu.
OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar & Brasserie (South Bank)
Enjoy the luxury of fine dining at home this festive season with an exclusive NYE dinner box from OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar & Brasserie. The dedicated chefs have put together easy-to-follow instructions to cook a four-course meal for a chilled out New Year’s Eve at home. Choose from a Chateaubriand for two with truffled mac and cheese and a starter of scallop and 10-hour cooked pork belly (£150) or a beetroot Wellington for one with a starter of wild mushroom arancini and truffle cheese (£50). You can also add a Harvey Nichol’s wine selection for £60. Last date to order is 6pm on Monday 28 December for delivery on New Year’s Eve.
HIDE at HOME (Mayfair)
Michelin-starred HIDE is offering a celebratory Hide at Home menu from 31 December to 3 January (not including New Year’s Day), featuring goose with sage & fenugreek home-made charcuterie, tartlet of this morning’s ricotta, dressed wild mushrooms & nasturtium, Giarraffa green olives with garlic, lemon & rosemary, and the option of either octopus, duck or pumpkin Papillote, as well as toasted vanilla éclair and canales cooked in beeswax (£75). You can also add cured salmon with Exmoor caviar & horseradish and fresh egg pasta with black truffle & aged parmesan for £50, with champagne and wine add-ons also available. Delivery is available within a 7-mile range of Hide restaurant.
Hakkasan at Home (Mayfair)
Hakkasan at Home has been a favourite during lockdowns this year, and for December the Hosted by Hakkasan experience takes the traditional delivery service to the next level. Bringing the Michelin-starred Mayfair restaurant into your home, Hosted by Hakkasan offers personalised chef and sommelier consultations, printed menus, table place cards, incense and floral arrangements. Wild Honey at Home (St James)
Anthony Demetre has created two Wild Honey at Home boxes to be shared by two. Powered by delivery platform Slerp, you can can choose between a four-course meal (£175) or a five-course meal (£250). Both menus kick off with sourdough and salted butter, duck and foie gras ‘en terrine’ with quince paste and winter salad. The four-course menu then features Bronze turkey with bacon, sausage, cranberry sauce and gravy, as well as roast potatoes, carrots and sprouts, and creamed cavolo nero. The five-course menu includes Isle of Orkney
Scottish scallop, yakitori grilled with seaweed butter and winter citrus, followed by Denbighshire sika venison with roast potatoes and vegetables. Both menus conclude with Christmas pudding and custard, as well as canelés and Christmas biscuits. A selection of Champagne, wines and bottled cocktails is also available to order. Additional cooking is required, with instructions from Anthony included. Orders must be placed 48 hours prior to date of delivery.

Le Comptoir Robuchon (Mayfair)
Le Comptoir Robuchon, just off Piccadilly, has created a festive menu for Londoners to enjoy at home through platforms Supper London and Deliveroo. The menu includes the likes of smoked salmon, caviar, foie gras, pâté en croute with black truffle, stuffed capon or stuffed guinea fowl, served with roasted chestnuts and celery, and chocolate and pear Christmas log. Available for delivery on 31 December within a radius of approx 2.5 miles from the restaurant.

Lyle’s Provisions (Shoreditch)
Michelin-starred and Lyle’s restaurant in Shoreditch has been shipping out its Lyle’s Provisions boxes throughout lockdown, and they look delicious. The Provisions Boxes and Meal Kits are filled with seasonal treats – from British game shot in the Scottish Highlands to his signature Lyle’s mince pies – available for delivery to doorsteps up and down the country. How does 14-week hung Dexter rib with slow-cooked beetroot grab you? Or venison loin with pumpkin and Brussels tops. Priced £140 and serves two. The Wolseley, Corbin & King’s Piccadilly flagship restaurant, has launched a collection of at-home menus including New Year’s Eve home dining and entertainment packages. Home Dining meals are prepared by the restaurant’s chefs, arriving refrigerated ready for you to oven heated or microwave. From The Wolseley’s Wiener Schnitzel, to Soutine’s Coq au Riesling, or Zédel’s Mousse au Chocolat, there’s plenty of choice, including sides and desserts. A curated selection of wines is also available. Home Entertaining packages offer a range of large celebratory dishes made for dinner party dining, from a whole Beef Wellington to a 7-hour Shoulder of Lamb or a Salmon Coulibiac. El Pirata (Mayfair)
Popular Mayfair restaurant El Pirata has created a special New Year’s Eve Wine and Charcuterie Box. The La Nochevieja Box, priced £145, includes the likes of Gran Gesta Cava, Muga Special Rioja, La Goya Manzanilla Sherry, Iberico Jamon, Chorizo, Manchego Cheese, Quince Jelly and Picos. It’s a great for family or friends to ring in the new year with restaurant quality food and wine at home.

The Gladwin Brothers Luxury Meal Box (various locations)
The Gladwin Brothers, who own and operate The Shed in Notting Hill, Sussex in Soho, Nutbourne in Battersea and Rabbit in Chelsea, are offering luxury New Year’s Eve boxes.
