Miracle on 34th Street is crossing the pond this Christmas, thanks to innovative US-based hospitality entrepreneurs the Experimental Group.
Their festively famous Miracle pop-up bar phenomenon will park up at Henrietta Hotel in Covent Garden, morphing into Miracle at Henrietta.
The Christmas-themed pop-up bar, renowned across America for its creative cocktails garnished with a side of kitsch, will launch on the hotel’s mezzanine on 16 November, running until 23 December.
Hidden away on the mezzanine, the Miracle at Henrietta pop-up will transport you back in time to Christmas past, with a space inspired by a 70s Christmas home featuring retro decorations and coloured lights.
The nostalgic space, designed by experiential company Marble London, will offer the Miracle pop-up’s renowned roster of Christmas concoctions, designed by original Experimental Cocktail Club alumni Nico de Soto and served in festive glassware.

Try the likes of the Bad Santa, a hot serve of mulled red wine, tawny port, orange liqueur and Christmas Spices; the SanTaRex, with tequila, herbal mint liqueur, cacao blanc, mezcal, serrano and coconut; as well as new creations like the Fruitcake Flip (brandy, Jamaican overproof rum, amaretto, fruitcake and cherry bitters).
And so that you don’t get too carried away with those festive spirits, a selection of top-notch snacks, such as gnocco fritto and sardine and lemon skewers by the highly-acclaimed Italian Supper Club – will help you line your stomach.
Miracle at Henrietta runs from 16 November to 23 December 2020. Both bookings and walk-ins (space permitting) are welcome.
