Mayfair’s Gymkhana Launches its First Ever Delivery Service

Gymkhana reopened to much fanfare in February after a restaurant fire last summer forced its temporary closure. But just as the much-loved Michelin star restaurant was finding its feet again, coronavirus reared its ugly head…

Once again, the Gymkhana team was left reeling, but where there’s a will, there’s a way… and that way is home delivery.

While it might sound like an obvious and easy solution, re-calibrating your entire operation to offer a home delivery service that meets the high standards of a Michelin-star restaurant is far from simple, hence the time the team has taken to get everything in place.

Fortunately, specialist delivery service Supper specialises in home delivery from just such restaurants.

The company uses custom-made bikes to deliver the restaurant’s dishes as quickly as possible, and Supper’s world-leading technology means your food won’t get thrown around in a backpack.

Sadly, it does mean that the delivery areas are somewhat restricted – usually covering just a 2.5 mile radius from the restaurant, but don’t despair, some of Gymkhana’s sister restaurants – part of the JKS Restaurants group – are offering deliveries further afield.

JKS Restaurants include Gymkhana, Hoppers, Brigadiers and more, located throughout London. From Wednesday 13 May 2020, JKS Restaurants will launch home delivery and take-away offerings from a number of the group’s restaurants.

It’s the first time that Gymkhana or Brigadiers have offered a delivery service, while Hoppers, Berenjak and Motu Indian Kitchen will have more locations and wider delivery areas across London.

Plus, delivery-only brands, including Rice Error by BAO, with more in the pipeline, will be launched.

All JKS Restaurants delivery will initially be available via either Deliveroo or Supper, with Click & Collect and further delivery options to be announced.
