Wine lovers, make you way to Albert Embankment this September for Wine Over Water, London’s first floating wine festival, taking place on board Tamesis Dock – all while taking in views of The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Tate Britain.

The event features winemakers that have travelled the globe to bring their award-winning wines from Hungary, South Africa, France, Italy, Romania, Australia, New Zealand – and the UK – to the Thames for this special event.

Hop on board Tamesis Dock – famous for its KaraUke nights – to rub shoulders with winemakers, take part in epic Voyage to Discovery tastings, explore the hottest trends in wine at the Island Wines table (including wines from volcanic islands such as Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica and the Azores), and take part in blind tasting competitions with cases of wine to be won.

You can also try dishes from the Sailor’s Rations menu, which will be serving marine-themed nibbles based on historical dishes served on old British vessels (available to buy separately).

Wanderlust Wine offers sustainable, quality wines from small producers all over the world. As the name implies, their mission is to explore the boundaries of the wine world we know, hunting out new wines, new regions and new styles.

Wine over Water takes place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September 2018 from 11am-2pm and 2.15pm-5pm. Tickets are £25 including eight tasting samples.
