Boyds Grill & Wine Bar, which has an ice cream bar, has launched a new ice cream afternoon tea experience. That’s right, an afternoon tea made of ice cream. What genius! Why has nobody thought of this before?
The Kitchen Bar Experience at Boyds Grill & Wine Bar, by Trafalgar Square, offers up Executive Chef Nate Brewster’s sensational nitrogen frozen ice cream. The team of talented chefs have been creating unusual instant nitrogen-frozen, silky smooth ice cream in unusual flavours like bacon, sweetcorn, Jack Daniels and vanilla, and Thai Green Curry on a daily basis, and now they have taken it one step further by creating an entire afternoon tea menu made entirely of ice cream.
The Kitchen Bar Afternoon Tea Experience will take place on Saturday 21 May from 2.30-3.30 and costs £12.95, or £22.95 with a glass of Nyetimber. The menu includes Brown Bread Ice Cream, Ham Hock & Piccalilli Sorbet, Scone, Jam and Clotted Cream Ice Cream, plus Burnt Honey & Almond Ice Cream, which will all be flash-frozen right in front of you.
The Kitchen Bar Afternoon Tea Experience is the first special Kitchen Bar Experience in a new series that will take place throughout the year. Check the Boyds Grill & Wine Bar website for updates on the next one…
