No such thing as a free lunch? There is if you’re kind…
Following its debut on the South Bank last year, the Gosh! Kindness Café returns to London in June, offering a free lunch to those who pledge an act of kindness.
Turning kindness into currency, the free-from, plant-based food brand Gosh! is encouraging hungry Londoners to promise an act of kindness pledge for a fellow human or animal, pin it onto the pledge wall, and receive a Gosh! Plant Pot for free!
Moroccan Falafel Salad, Zesty Sweet Potato Pakora Salad and other plant-based goodies – all free from the top 14 allergens – are up for grabs. And it’s not just the food that’s good – Gosh! dishes are approved by the Vegan Society, contain no palm oil, and the brand is committed to the ongoing goal of Zero Waste to Landfill.
Whether you pledge to donate money to the homeless, wash up the dishes for your parents or just be nicer to fellow commuters at rush hour, add your promise to the pledge wall and enjoy a free lunch.
What’s more, capture and share your act of kindness on Instagram, tag #KindnessIsCurrency and you’ll be in with a chance to win a month’s supply of nutritious Gosh! goodies.
‘Gosh! is founded on the philosophy that we should be kind to our bodies, and we want to extend that message, engendering a kinder way of life to fellow humans and animals’
‘Our brand ethos is centred on kindness,’ says Gosh! CEO Jane Rayner. ‘Last year we launched the first ever Kindness Café and the public reaction was fantastic. We had such an overwhelmingly positive response that we had to bring it back bigger and better this year to deliver more kindness to as many people as possible.
‘Gosh! is founded on the philosophy that we should be kind to our bodies, only eating real, harm-free, wholesome ingredients that mother nature provides. We want to extend that message and way of life to everyone, engendering a kinder way of life to fellow humans and animals.’
The Gosh! Kindness Café is off on a UK tour, launching at Shoreditch Boxpark from 28-29 June 2019 (11am-3pm), before heading to New Road in Brighton from 12-13 July 2019 (11am-3pm)
