GAUCHO LAUNCHES THE BIG BOXING DAY BRUNCH

Traditionally, Boxing Day is a day of using up those turkey leftovers or, for those of us feeling guilty, nibbling on celery sticks. But not for Gaucho – the Piccadilly and Tower Bridge branches of the Argentinian restaurant chain are serving up a Big Boxing Day Brunch

Gaucho’s Big Boxing Day Brunch menu has been designed so that you can order any dish as many times as you would like. Try the likes of bubble and squeak with chimichurri, or oven-baked pigs in blankets roasted with plum tomatoes, egg and mushrooms. Think brunch classics served up with a festive Gaucho twist.

The humble bacon and sausage butty has been transformed with a juicy smoked bacon sandwich and a succulent sausagemeat stuffing sandwich, and the perfect ending to the feast comes in the form of an oozing Panettone pudding, served with whipped cream.

For those in need of hair-of-the-dog after an indulgent Christmas day, Gaucho has also teamed up with Monkey Shoulder whisky to offer guests an exclusive festive cocktail bar.

The cocktail menu will include classic winter warmers alongside the Gaucho Bloody Mary and an Aperol Spritz. Or, guests can try a pimped-up hot chocolate, made extra decadent by stirring Monkey Shoulder Whisky and Christmas spices through the Dulce de Leche chocolate.

Gaucho believes that every guest should experience a little bit of Argentine life – its food, its wine, its culture and, most importantly, the passion of the people. And that includes party people – Gaucho also serves a late-night menu inspired by the launch of the Night Tube.

The all-inclusive Big Boxing Day Brunch menu will be served at Gaucho Piccadilly and Tower Bridge from 11am-3pm on 26 December. £65pp.
