One of Maida Vale’s best-loved pubs, The Truscott Arms, has announced its new Head Chef will be Aidan McGee, formerly at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Launceston Place
Top gastro pub The Truscott Arms in Maida Vale has appointed new Head Chef Aidan McGee to run its popular restaurant. Aidan, formerly at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and at Launceston Place under Tim Allen, will launch his new Autumn/Winter menus at the venue on Monday 15th of September 2014.
Aidan was born and bred in Donegal, Ireland amidst a magic combination of the family farm with home grown ingredients and animals in abundance. He followed in his fathers footsteps by becoming a chef, landing a job in the kitchen of The Mandarin Oriental early on in his career. Fans of the pub should expect some exciting new additions to the menu. Early previews of Aidan’s creations include roasted suckling pig with broad beans, pressed potato, mint and lettuce and custard tart with roasted figs and almond milk ice cream for dessert.
