Supper, a new food delivery service, has teamed up with 19 of London’s top restaurants to offer fine dining in the comfort of your own home
It’s no secret that London is home to some of the finest restaurants in the UK, but for the first time ever, residents in the capital will be able to enjoy them without booking a table. In fact, there’s no need to even step outside your front door.
Supper, the world’s first Michelin star delivery service, will bring dishes from London’s most sought-after restaurants to homes and offices across the city this September. The company, which hopes to attract more award-winning eateries after its launch, will start by offering menus from 19 restaurants . These include Michelin starred Indian brands Tamarind and Benares as well as the steak and sushi experts M Restaurants, Japanese restaurants Matsuri and Tsunami, plus Mayfair’s popular Italian Bocconcino.
So, how does it work? The company will use Japanese bikes to deliver the restaurant’s dishes as quickly as possible to customers. Food is stored in high-tech boxes and will be served in a Supper bag straight from each vehicle, which can hold enough food to cater for up to 20 people. And if you’re throwing a dinner party? Supper will also offer an in-house sommelier service with wine pairing recommendations for each dish.
Sounds like meals on wheels is about to get a lot more glamorous.
Supper will launch on 7 September and will be open from 11am – 11pm, Monday to Sunday. Find out more at supper.london
