Pancake perfection

Don’t miss the opening of Crepe Affaire on Chiswick High Road. The new pancake house is sure to be packed with ravenous kids after school wolfing down banana split and Nutella crepes, but it also promises to cater for the daytime crowd with savoury fillings such as goats cheese, caramelised onion and spinach. Even those with allergies can indulge in their gluten free buckwheat flour crepes. Look out for their opening week (10 November) of crepe giveaways!

New all-day dining in Ealing

Ealing welcomes another new arrival this month in the form of Limeyard, an all-day café and restaurant with a new take on surf, turf and salads. With a fresh, punchy menu of seafood, grills, raw salads and cocktails, its Californian influence is clear but there are also nods to Europe and Australia. Try the Super Salad packed with mung, soy and red beans, grilled feta, shaved vegetables, roasted seeds, picked herbs, sesame dressing or for the more carnivorous the steak and eggs or buttermilk chicken with warm peanut and coriander rice salad. And don’t forget a stack of pancakes, baked waffles or the Full Yard for breakfast – guaranteed to set you up for the day.
