Start the celebrations early and sample some fantastic locally-produced festive foodie treats at Hammond’s special Christmas food event
To celebrate six months of trading in Kew Bridge and to thank all of their lovely local supporters, Hammond’s is having a Christmas Tasting Event from 4pm-8pm on Thursday 13 November.
There will be lots of Christmas ideas to inspire, including award-winning English wine and cheese, locally-produced honey from Hatton Road allotments and hampers full of deli treats.
Karen Hunnisett, inspired after a serious illness to set up her own chocolate business, will be on hand to conduct a tasting. She and her small team of chocolatiers source the best couverture chocolate from around the world to produce delicious high quality chocolates with innovative flavours and designs.
Wine expert George Randall will be tasting some of the very best winter wines: a perfect accompaniment to the free range geese and bronze turkeys, available from teh Hammond’s butchers and which came top in The Independent newspaper taste test.
Also on display will be a fantastic array of beautifully crafted Christmas wreaths by local pop-up florist and all round creative, Ruth Davis.
The event is open to all, from 4pm-8pm.
