Hive, Selfridges newest restaurant, will see Michelin star chef Claude Bosi take over the kitchen for a one-off supperclub this summer

This new honey-focused restaurant – which opened its doors in November for a few short weeks before London was plunged back into Tier 4 – uses honey from its own rooftop hives in the dishes.
For one night only, on 22 June 2021, Hive at Selfridges will welcome world-renowned Michelin star chef Claude Bosi, known for his contemporary approach to French fine dining, to host a honey-themed supperclub.
Bosi has designed a four-course menu of cutting-edge dishes, each featuring Hive’s signature ingredient – natural honey – from sweet and sour lobster with radish and linden honey to Cornish John Dory with lime and lavender honey.
Beekeeper Mark Patterson manages the hives’ new micro-ecosystem and harvests the Selfridges honey weekly.
Having traded for only a few short weeks between lockdowns, Hive’s vision to use freshly harvested and hyper-local honey has finally come to fruition. The restaurant, located on the department store’s third floor, replaced Hemsley + Hemsley and serves dishes such as honey and cheese pairings, honey afternoon teas and cocktails featuring the amber nectar.
The Claude Bosi at Hive supperclub takes lace at 6.30pm on Tuesday 22 June 2021 price £120pp with optional £60 wine pairing. Vegetarian and vegan options also available. Book via eventbrite.co.uk.
