As a celebration of all things indulgent and delicious, a group of London’s top restaurants and dessert parlours are joining arms to serve up their ultimate treats and encouraging Brits to stay after dinner and savour those sweet moment with friends.
The Baileys team has delved deep into our dessert habits with a brand new study, and discovered that we’re not treating ourselves nearly as much as we deserve, with 70% of us ditching dessert and grabbing the bill straight after dinner, so that we can dash off and get on top of the never-ending to-do list.
‘A new study has discovered that we’re not treating ourselves nearly as much as we deserve, with 70% of us ditching dessert and grabbing the bill straight after dinner’
The study of 500 UK residents was carried out for the Baileys team earlier this year, unveiling that we love dessert more than ever – 63% agreed it was the best part of the meal and that it’s our favourite thing over box sets, outfit shopping, and even our pets.
So this September, Baileys is encouraging us to live in the moment and indulge in the things we love with the very first Baileys Dessert Week, and 11 of London’s most-loved restaurants and dessert bars are on board, from Sketch to Lily Vanilli.
The indulgent week, running from 23 September, will offer one-of-a-kind dessert sensations and irresistible drinks pairings – such as Baileys Cheesecake Cookie Cups, Baileys Billionaires Caramel Shortbread Chocolate, Middle Eastern Affogato and unique Baileys cocktails – all designed to tempt us into staying that little bit longer by asking, bill… or Baileys?
