1 Curators Coffee
Located just a few blocks north of Oxford Street, Curators Coffee Gallery provides a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of the London streets. On a hot day, get an iced drink or get your classic hot coffee. Need some food? They have you covered with salads and sandwiches too.

It may be a few blocks outside of Soho, but it is worth a short walk to Covent Garden to find Notes. Stroll up and get some coffee or tea, or if you want lunch and a glass of wine, that is an option too! It isn’t necessarily your cozy coffee shop environment, but it more than gets the job done. If this location doesn’t suit you, try out their nine other locations across London.

3 Department of Coffee and Social Affairs
Once you manage to find Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, you’ll be glad you did. Hidden down a small alley way off Carnaby Street, it’s a great quiet spot to refuel. More of a traditional coffee house, they have plenty of coffee and tea options, including some good cold brews. Sit under the awning outside, or enjoy your coffee inside this calm location.

Looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street? Head north up Berners Street to find Kaffeine on Eastcastle Street for a specialty coffee that has more of an Australian-style to it. Breakfast, lunch and special baked treats are available as well (do try the quiche). They also have a branch on Great Titchfield Street.

5 Flat White
Named for the hipster’s coffee of choice, Flat White soaks up the buzz of Berwick Street Market and serves it right back to you in caffeinated form. Where Notes was vast, Flat White is rather a more compact, intimate coffee shop where you can grab a bite or a cuppa. In fact, it was the most traditional coffee shop we visited in terms of vibe and space.
