4 Pizza Roulette at Martello Hall & Canova Hall
Hackney’s Martello Hall and Brixton’s Canova Hall are spicing things up with a fiery Pizza Roulette during week-long celebrations, running from 5-9 February. Diners ordering a ‘special’ Rock Star Margherita (stracciatella, mozzarella, roast tomatoes, rocket & salsa verde, £11) will be in for a spicy surprise as one slice will be peppered with hidden heat – a Birdseye chilli seamlessly disguised within their homemade tomato sauce base. To take the edge off, pair it with a cooling Cucumber & Elderflower Collins, which can be ordered together with the Rock Star Margherita for £18 (cocktail normally £10).

Italian restaurant Macellaio RC and Harrods have joined forces to create a special menu for Pizzeria in Harrods, taking the form of a culinary battle between resident head chef Guiseppe Silvestri and guest chef Matteo Riganelli from Macellaio RC. The ‘battle’ will be based on the longstanding friendly rivalry between the Neopolitan ‘pizza’ and the Ligurian ‘pissa’. The special menu, featuring a choice of three Neopolitan style pizza and three Ligurian style pizzas, launches on National Pizza Day and is available until 18 February. Plus, on Valentine’s Day, the chefs are offering romantic heart-shaped sharing pizzas with two different toppings. Both menus will be served from Harrods’ Pizzeria & Canti Prosecco Bar.
