Weekends are never long enough, but now you can keep the good times rolling with Shackfuyu’s new Boozy Monday Brunch. Just be sure to square it with your boss…

The new bottomless brunch menu at Shackfuyu in Soho gives you the chance to kick start the working week in serious style with a three-course Japanese-inspired feast alongside free-flowing prosecco and pineapple sake.

Choose two small dishes from a selection including katsu sando Iberico pluma with homemade tonkatsu sauce, and chicken tsukune with ponzu and quail egg, as well as one large dish such as grilled salmon fillet with yuzu miso or Iberico pork pluma with spring onion and black pepper miso. You can also enjoy unlimited prosecco and pineapple sake on tap throughout the Monday brunch feast, topped off for dessert with Shackfuyu’s iconic kinako French toast with soft serve matcha ice cream.

If your boss isn’t likely to sign off on your boozy brunch, fret not, the menu is available from 12noon right through to 10pm (last booking 8pm) every Monday. The new Boozy Monday Brunch follows the success of Shackfuyu’s much-loved Sunday Brunch, which has seen queues of hungry diners forming every weekend on Old Compton Street.

Following its successful Soho pop-up, Shackfuyu became a permanent addition to Old Compton Street at the end of 2015. The fourth restaurant in Australian-born Ross Shonhan’s restaurant collection, who opened the first Bone Daddies in 2012 followed by Flesh & Buns in Covent Garden in 2013, Shonhan’s aim has always been to provide authentic Japanese food with a London twist.

Shackfuyu’s Monday Boozy Brunch menu is priced at £35 per person.
