If you want to have a tapas dinner with an authentic drink to match, the Sangria masterclass at Ametsa restaurant can help you create Spain’s most famous tipple for yourself
Ametsa restaurant at the Halkin Hotel will be hosting their second Sangria masterclass on the 19th August. At the event, guests will learn how to create the classic drink recipe from scratch, to be enjoyed with tapas from the restaurant’s head chef Sergio Sanz Blanco.
Later in this year, Ametsa will also be exploring Spanish Wines with accompanying Spanish cheese, with provisional dates set for 16thSeptember, 21stOctober, 18thNovember. Ametsa with Arzak Instruction is a collaboration between Elena Arzak – voted Veuve Clicquot World’s Best Female Chef in 2012 – along with her father Juan Mari Arzak, and Mikel Sorazu, Igor Zalakain and Xabier Gutierrez.
Each masterclass is priced at £30 per person, and begins at 6.30pm. You can extend the evening with a two-course meal at Ametsa for the additional price of £35 per person.
