Sakagura, the authentic Japanese cuisine and sake bar in Mayfair, launched a knockout 12-course Chef’s Table dining experience this summer, and you have just two Tuesdays left to experience it!

The interactive sittings take you on a gastronomic journey through Japan with an exquisite 12-course tasting menu with sake pairings.

Running every Tuesday until 11 September, the bespoke menu has been curated by masterful Head Chef Delroy Simpson, who has previously worked at Conran Restaurants and Inamo.

Having been a chef for over 24 years, Delroy has a real passion for how Japanese food is cooked and prepared, using only the freshest seasonal produce. His friendly demeanor and confidence in the delicate flavours he creates is contagious, bolstered by his bubbly partner in gastronomic glory, Sake Sommelier and General Manager Mimi Tokumine.

Hosted by both Delroy and Mimi in Sakagura’s stylish and intimate robata dining room, you can prop yourselves up at the traditional 11-seater wooden kappo counter and marvel as your dinner is created right before your eyes.

The sake sommelier lives and breathes omotenashi – the spirit of unconditional Japanese hospitality

Enjoy the likes of pan-fried pork gyoza and crispy Asian king prawn tempura, alongside a few of Chef Delroy’s favourite newly created dishes – a divine Wagyu carpaccio, miso buta (pork) yakitori and unagi (eel) nigiri.

The optional sake pairings include bottles from award-winning breweries including Gekkeikan and Doi, chosen by Mimi Tokumine, who works, lives and breathes omotenashi – the spirit of unconditional Japanese hospitality.

Choose from a lunch or dinner sitting at £60pp for 12-courses or £90pp with paired sakes. Tickets are available from Design My Night
