Bibendum Restaurant & Oyster Bar is celebrating the arrival of autumn in style, with a very special white truffle menu

Devised by Matthew Harris, who celebrates his 20th year in the role as head chef this year, Bibendum’s White Truffle Menu will comprise a selection of dishes that can be served as a starter (£12) or main course (£18), and accompanied by white truffle (£6.50 per gram/subject to market price).
The menu offers diners such dishes as risotto bianco; Piemontese potato gnocchi with Parmesan and chive cream; wild mushroom linguine; omelette with truffle duxelles; and warm potato purée with poached egg, with white truffle to be grated onto the chosen dishes at the table.
Bibendum’s carefully chosen white truffles have been sourced from The Abruzzo Truffle Hunter, a respected supplier that scours the northernmost region of southern Italy searching for these most prized delicacies. 
Dishes on the white truffle menu will be paired with two stellar wines available by the glass, carafe or bottle, which have been specially recommended by wine writer Matthew Jukes.
