Former chef at Petersham Nurseries Café has revealed that her new restaurant will be located at Somerset House
Since she left her post as head chef at Michelin-starred Petersham Nurseries, there has been much speculation about the location of Chef Skye Gyngell’s first solo venture in the restaurant world. First there were rumours of a Notting Hill launch, but now it has been announced that her new restaurant, Spring will be launched at Somerset House, the arts and cultural hub of the West End. Confusingly, Spring will actually be up and running in autumn, with a launch date set for September.
The menu at Spring will be led influenced the seasons, featuring ingredient-led dishes served in the New Wing of Somerset House, a beautiful 19th century restaurant that has not been open to the public for 150 years.
‘Spring’, will be opening late September 2014
