February may be short, but it is sweet and here are the latest new restaurants, bars and pubs in London to prove it.

1 Jacuzzi, Knightsbridge

The latest razzle dazzle affair from the Big Mumma group (Ave Mario, Gloria's and Circolo Popolare). The first in London's west, this new one is styled out to be more of an Italian mansion, than a kitsch take on a traditional trattoria. The sprawling venue comes with an outdoor terrace for summer, an internal lemon tree and all the eccentric, busy fun Big Mumma's venues are known for. Watch out for decadent pastas served in wheels of cheese and Versace flipflops.

Address: 94 Kensington High Street W8 4SJ

2 EDIT, London Fields

A smart, new vegan place for Hackney, that is all about making things as good for the planet and yourself as possible. Dishes are modern British and made with a 'root to fruit' approach. Wines are low intervention and natural. Order small plates from the menu or try the venue's six course farm to fork tasting menu.

Address: 217 Mare Street, Hackney E8 3QE

3 Florattica, Aldgate

With views that stretch from the St Pauls to Canary Wharf, new rooftop bar Florattica is one for cocktails and classy small plates and for soaking up London's grandeur. Found on the 11th floor of Canopy by Hilton London, the outdoor terrace comes heated, thankfully, and the drinks come herbaceous, zingy, florally, and infused and mixed with things like black garlic, clarified artichoke juice and marigold syrup. .

Address: Level 11, Canopy by Hilton London City, 11-15 Minories, EC3N 1AX

4 Pretty Decent Beer Co Brewery and Taproom, Walthamstow

A new independent brewery for Walthamstow's Blackhorse Beer Mile, and this one comes with a 1,500 litre brewhouse and 20 taps. Pretty Decent Beer Co has opened a second brewery and taproom. For food, the brewery has partnered up with Walthamstow pizza joint, It's Not Big Dough for a full range of Neapolitan style pizzas.

5 Zapote, Shoreditch

A contemporary Mexican restaurant that comes with a cocktail bar, and eventually, a private dining room, on the site where St Leonard's once stood. Head here for the likes of grilled octopus tortillas, beef tartare taco with roasted bone marrow, charred lamb neck with smoked aubergine and tamarind puree, and wild mushroom quesadilla with tomatillo salsa.

Address: 70 Leonard Street Shoreditch EC2A 4QX

6 Hawthorn, Kew

Kew Village just got a new neighbourhood restaurant that aims to become a bit of  destination. Here, you'll get to eat plates of food created by Victoria Beckham and Tom Cruise's old private chef Joshua Hunter, who honed his skills in the Michelin-starred Kitchen W8, Murano by Angela Hartnett, and La Trompette. His style is unfussy European cooking that focuses on British game and wild foods.

7 Joia, Battersea Power Station

Found on the 15th floor in the recently opened new art’otel London Battersea Power Station, is this Iberian restaurant by Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa. Using Portuguese and Catalan cooking technique to prepare British and Iberian produce, diners can tuck into small plates, tapas and big plates that speak of Mediterranean sensibilities.
