With Soda Stream cocktails and vintage pinball machines, Coin Laundry, Exmouth Market’s retro bar and restaurant, offers nostalgic dishes straight out of the 70s and 80s. Laid back and relaxed, Coin Laundry’s extensive menu of retro comfort food has just gotten even better. Now they serve a Chicken Kiev Sunday Roast and Bottomless Brunch.
Designed by Head Chef Nik Prescot, good old 70s and 80s British fair is given a modern twist with Coin Laundry’s new Chicken Kiev Sunday Roast. The new Sunday Roast menu promises a mouthwatering Half Roast Chicken Kiev for £16.50. If that’s not your thing, there’s also the Roast Silverside (£16) or Roast ham (£15). All roasts are served – as they should be – with Hasselback potatoes, romanesco cheese, broccoli greens and beans, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.

Then, every Saturday from 9am-5pm, there’s a new bottomless brunch to wake you up. Some of the authentic, timeless dishes include Mushroom vol-au-vent benedict (£8), Smoked haddock rarebit (£9), comforting Corned beef and Bovril bake (£8.5) as well as dirty baps and buttered crumpets. It’s that’s not enough, there are also bottomless cocktails. Guests get choice between Bloody Mary (£18), Bucks Fizz (£16) and Pamplemousse (£17). A step into the past, Coin Laundry reminds us how food used to taste. Keep an eye out for these new specials.
