Nobu Berkeley ST, the world famous Japanese restaurant in Mayfair, is inviting you to be a food critic for the evening in its latest Tastemaker event.

Be a food critic for an evening with Nobu

The experience will see a limited number of guests taste-test an innovative selection of never-before-tried dishes, presented by Nobu chefs and rated by you.

The dishes that make the cut will be added to July’s Omakase – or chef’s choice – menu.

On arrival at the Lounge Bar, Tastemakers can sip on a welcome cocktail – and choose a name for it – before enjoying five dishes from the sushi bar and kitchen.

Each course will see two versions go head-to-head, sharing the same base ingredient but differing in terms of flavour and presentation.

You’ll try 10 tasting-sized dishes in total, from sea bream to rib-eye and king crab, scoring each out of 10. Dishes with the highest collective rating will feature on the Omakase menu for July.

The event is the second in the series of Nobu’s new Tastemaker dinners, which launched in April to put the guest front and centre of the dining experience.

Tastemakers at Nobu Berkeley ST takes place on 12 June 2019 from 6.30pm-9.30pm priced £100pp including a cocktail on arrival, two tasting-sized portions of five courses and half a bottle of wine.
