Linda McCartney and Dirty Burger have teamed up to produce a Dirty Vegan burger, launching for one week in honor of World Meat Free Week

The burgers will be available from 11-17 June priced at £7. Burgers will be free for the first 50 people at the Shoreditch and Vauxhall sites for those looking to try the limited-edition burger.

World Meat Free Week, first celebrated in 2015 as World Meat Free Day, was launched to raise awareness of eating less meat.

McCartney’s quarter pounder burger patties will include two layers of popocini pepper relish, lettuce and burnt aubergine in a vegan brioche bun.

‘Here at Dirty Burger, we’re really excited about the opportunity to create a great tasting option for our vegetarian and vegan customers,’ said Dirty Burger chef Brian McGowan.

‘I’ve thoroughly enjoyed developing the Dirty Vegan burger and cannot wait to see the reaction once it launches in store.’

The Dirty Vegan burger will be available at the Tooting, Balham, Wimbledon, Crouch End, St John’s Wood, Whitechapel, Shoreditch and Vauxhall locations for the week.
