1 Habanera wins Best Mexican

Shepherd’s Bush’s newly opened independent Mexican restaurant, Habanera has scooped the Best Mexican Restaurant title 2015 at Air Europa Latin UK Awards. One of the fore-runners of the area’s development, Habanera, is fast becoming a firm local favourite serving authentic and seasonally changing tacos, burritos and cocktails since its opening last year. Crowd pleasers such as Baha Fish, Wild Mushroom, 3 Little Pigs pork mix or Coconut Prawn are also on the menu as is a dedicated salsa bar. Also open for breakfast and weekend brunches, all dishes are made from scratch daily with ingredients from local and organic suppliers where possible and it’s largely a gluten free menu.
