1 Gordon Ramsay’s Love London Menus, various locations
Seven of Gordon Ramsay’s London restaurants are offering a special Love London menu, where two people can dine on two courses for £30, making it £15 each when dining with a friend. Throw in the Chancellor’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme, and on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August you can both take 50% off, making it £7.50 each. That’s a major bargain! 2 SMOKESTAK, Shoreditch
SMOKESTAK, the BBQ restaurant founded by chef David Carter, is offering a 4for£10 menu to help Londoners squeeze every drop from the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. Available from Monday to Wednesday, barbecue aficionados can order a starter, signature meat/bun combo, side and gelato for just £10pp, once the EOTHO discount has been applied. The ‘4for10’ August menu features a choice of charred corn salsa; crispy pigtails or smoked cods roe to start. Then there are signature smoked meats of beef brisket, native-breed pulled pork, and chilli and fennel sausage. On the side, choose from skin-on chips with aioli, ginger and chilli slaw, and smoked pit beans. To finish, there’s Happy Endings MALT soft serve or Hackney Gelato’s salted caramel or mango sorbet, all served in a waffle cone.

3 Carluccio’s, Richmond (other branches to follow)
Carluccio’s Richmond, which reopened its doors on 30 July, is extending the Eat Out to Help Out scheme with 50% off your total food and soft drinks bill throughout August, without the £10pp limit. Plus, there’s an additional £10 off each bottle of wine ordered. Cheers to that! To celebrate its reopening, Carluccio’s Richmond is also offering a complimentary bottle of beer or glass of bubbles for all bookings up until 2 August. The EOTHO offer is available from Monday to Wednesday throughout August. Carluccio’s is gradually reopening branches nationwide, and the offer will be available everywhere. The next branch to open is South Kensington on 6 Aug. For a Michelin-star meal on a budget, look no further than Jason Atherton’s Social Eating House in Soho. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can enjoy the Prix Fixe menu at lunch time and from 6pm-6.30pm, with two courses for just £22, meaning you can enjoy a two-course Michelin-starred meal for only £12, once the Eat Out to Help Out discount has been applied. Opt three courses for £28 and add a cocktail for £36. Bill’s, which has 19 restaurants across London, has one-upped the Chancellor’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme by offering new set menus with a complimentary glass of wine that, when combined with the EOTHO scheme will set you back less than a tenner. The We’re joining in! All Day Set Menu offers two courses for £15.50 and three courses for £19.95, and the We’re joining in! FishWorks Fishmonger and Restaurant in Marylebone has just reopened its doors for dining in, has launched a new meal and oyster delivery service if you prefer to stay at home, and is taking part in Eat Out to Help Out. To celebrate the reopening, FishWorks Marylebone will be offering 50% off the total food and non-alcoholic drinks bill, without the £10 cap.
