Coppa Club is launching its winter igloos and terrace with Piper Heidsieck Champagne and bookings open soon…

London’s most Instagrammable riverside igloos are set to return this winter following a cosy new transformation in collaboration with Piper Heidsieck Champagne.

The igloos, which always book out fast, will become a candlelit haven with underfloor heating to stave off even the coldest evening.

Seating six guests in comfort – perfect for a Covid-secure dining experience within your social bubble – each igloo will have its own individual speakers, complete with the knock-out views of Tower Bridge and The Shard that they’ve become known for.

Igloo diners can expect an exclusive menu, in addition to the restaurant à la carte menu, featuring sashimi-grade tuna tartare with a yuzu-spiked caper dressing, whole lemon sole cooked on the bone, and a 1kg porterhouse steak for two with café de Paris butter, grilled mushrooms and crispy onion rings. For dessert, choose from a baked Alaska and a rich chocolate fondant with caramelised white chocolate and salted caramel ice cream.

Piper Heidsieck has also created a special champagne menu, featuring their Classic Champagne Cocktail made with cognac, a Kir Royale, and Igloo Fizz with gin and maraschino, as well as Brut and Rosé champagnes by the glass and Blanc de Blancs by the bottle.

Igloos are bookable in two-hour slots from Monday to Sunday, with bookings opening on 21 October 2020 for reservation from 23 October to end of November. Bookings for December and January will be available from 25 November.

A minimum spend of £180 per igloo applies to all peak bookings (evenings from 5pm and weekend). Off peak, there’s a minimum spend of £30pp for bookings of three people or fewer, but no minimum spend for bookings of four to six guests. To book an igloo for three or fewer people, book online for four guests and then call the reservations team to reduce the booking size.

But these are not the only igloos on the block – Jimmy’s Lodge on the South Bank launched its Snow Globes – complete with a winter menu of Alpine fondue and hot-stone sharing steak – last week.

Coppa Club will also have winter igloos riverside at its Sonning venue and in the Lanes in Brighton, where a minimum spend of £30 per guest applies to any bookings of fewer than four people.
