Bubbledogs Throws Dog-Friendly Tea Party For Battersea Dogs & Cats Home
bubbledogs, London’s popular hot dog and champagne restaurant, is hosting a dog-friendly tea party in support of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on Tuesday 8 August
The tea party, complete with a menu of homemade dog treats, from hotdogs to tater tots, as well as Battersea balloons and banners, will celebrate the launch of bubbledogs’ hound-themed hot dogs.
Modelled on their canine namesakes, the doggy-themed hotdogs include The German Shepherd (with a grilled sauerkraut, honey mustard beer sauce and a pretzel crumb), The Mutt (pairing peanut butter with cheddar cheese and salty bacon bits), The Bichon Frise (with brie, cornichon relish and Dijon mustard) and The Greyhound (with homemade piccalilli, cheddar cheese sauce and apple slaw).
bubbledogs founder Sandia Chang has also created a menu of homemade dog treats to keep your pooches happy while you chow down on the above and quaff bubbledogs’ hand-picked selection of grower champagnes, from a glass of own label Collin-Guillaume Rosé to the Jean-Marc Sélèque Extra Brut.
‘I feel really strongly about making sure that all dogs and cats have a warm and loving home,’ says Sandia, ‘and that’s why I have chosen support Battersea as we want to do what we can to help this fantastic charity couple owners and canine companions.
‘Paxo, our resident dog and canine recipe tester, has helped with the doggy-themed hot dog menu which includes some of our favourite flavours. Dogs are always more than welcome at the restaurant, we love to meet our guests and the wonderful community of dog owners that we have in London, but it’s even better to be doing it for a good cause.’
The hound-themed hot dogs will be available throughout August, with £1 from each hot dog going to the charity.
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims never to turn away a dog or cat in need, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found. Since it was founded in 1860, Battersea has rescued, reunited and rehomed over 3.1 million dogs and cats.
The dog tea party takes place on Tuesday 8 August at bubbledogs, with the doggy-themed menu available all day and continuing throughout August. To book see bubbledogs.co.uk, call 020 7637 7770 or email email@example.com (walk ins also available)
