With a glamorous nod to 1920s New York, The Beaumont Hotel's Colony Grill Room has an appropriate American twang for Thanksgiving. 2 Darby’s, Nine Elms

Another NY inspired restaurant, this one by Robin Gill (Zebra Riding Rooms, Maria G's). Darby’s is putting on jazz and a four-course feasting menu for the holiday. It starts with the likes of truffled mac & cheese croquette, and cornbread with smoked bourbon butter before moving on to a lemon and thyme roaster turkey served with Brussel tops and chestnuts.and a pumpkin tart to finish on.

3 SOLA, Soho

The Michelin-starred American restaurant is putting on a decadent Californian-style spread that start with salmon, beef and eel, foie gras, and bacon canapés and festive Bloody Mary, cheesesteak and turkey kromeski bites. There's also flambed native lobster, and scallops with caviar. SOLA's take on the turkey roast is confit duck breast wotj morcilla stuffing, beetroot foie gras and elderberry. Finish on a contemporary twist on the pumpkin pie - pumpkin mousse with Jack Daniel's creme diplomate and pecans.

4 Galvin Bar & Grill, Bloomsbury

The Michelin-starred Galvin Brothers are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at their luxurious Bloomsbury dining room the comes with a southern twist. The meal kicks off with Dorset crab and sweet pumpkin cake, Oscietra caviar with creme fraiche before wild mushrooms with green beans and quail eggs and truffle arrive. The Turkey is served Southern-style - fried and cooked with apricot and served with popovers sweet potato mash and creole sprouts. The pecan pie is served with bourbon cream.

Celebrate Thanksgiving with some of the best views of London there is.
