1 The Montague Beach Bar, Bloomsbury
Be part of the alfresco Bloomsbury Set with a trip to the one of London’s most exclusive summer pop ups – The Montague Beach Bar. Located in a cute courtyard to the rear of The Montague on the Gardens hotel – which sits on a beautiful street of Georgian terrace houses next to The British Museum – The Montague Beach Bar is Bloomsbury’s version of the Bahamas, complete with real sand, a beach-hut style thatched roof, cocktails and palm trees. There’s also a BBQ, ice cream cones and cocktails served in coconuts. Book a 90-minute slot between 1pm and 5pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with a Montague burger and chips plus three drinks (choose from house wine, beer or beach cocktails) for £29pp. Unlimited drinks packages are also available. Open until June.

2 The Berkeley Beach Huts, Knightsbridge
The Berkeley is embracing that great British summer feel with new, rainbow-coloured beach huts inspired by iconic foodie seafronts like Whitstable, Southwold and Padstow. The five huts sit proudly centre stage, while counter top and terrace dining offer extra seats for diners to feast on seaside fare and joyful retro classics. Enjoy platters of seafood abundant with dressed crab, lobster, king prawns, mussels and clams, as well as the likes of freshly shucked oysters, 5-star fish and chips and grilled sea trout, sea bass and lobster with fries. 3 Limin’ Beach Club, South Bank
Limin’ Beach Club brings a slice of Caribbean sunshine and sandy vibes to the South Bank. The pop up, which first opened its doors on the South Bank last summer, offers three outdoor beaches, rum punch, a BBQ and soca beats. Caribbean dishes, fresh off the grill, include the likes of succulent jerk chicken, soft shell crab and roasted vegetable salad, as well as Trinidadian street food dishes such as doubles, aloo pies and pholourie. Cocktails include the signature Mr Rum’s Punch, Rum n’ Coconut served in a coconut, a frozen Piña Colada served in a pineapple, a Limin’ Daiquiri and a Backyard Mezcal Smash, as well as a range of beers and wines. Champagne and oysters will also be available at the weekends and there will be table service from 17 May, with a range of events planned for the summer.
