Easter is a time for indulgence. But the temptation is not just in the abundance of chocolate eggs rolling around out there, there are also seasonal cocktails, and some of them are even served INSIDE Easter eggs… Have mercy!   

1 Duck & Waffle‘s master mixer Rich Woods has created a White Chocolate Gin Fizz for Easter, with Bombay Sapphire gin, white chocolate liqueur and lemon bitters. There’s also a Nutella Negroni (Bombay Sapphire gin, vermouth blend, Campari, Nutella infusion) and adorable little Easter Eggs (coconut washed Bacardi Carta Blanca rum, hay-infused white chocolate and black truffle). £14 each. There’s also a Popcorn Mousse Easter Egg dessert with banana rum yolk, sticky popcorn nest and banana bread soldiers on the side should you decide to go all in…  Available to order 10-17 April.

2 Aster’s talented mixologists is serving up the Aster Egg cocktail from 3–17 April. The delectable concoction is made with Diplomatico reserva rum mixed with Mozart dark chocolate liqueur, aztec bitter chocolate, milk and sugar. The best bit? It’s served in a hollow milk chocolate egg! £18. The Bottomless Brunch is also available on both Good Friday and Saturday with live music (under 12s eat free), and they’re also hosting an Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday.

3 Aviary is serving The Birds Nest, a cute collection of four servings of Belsazar Vermouth in red, white, dry and rose in four individual Easter Eggs, presented in a little Easter basket. 25ml each. £12. Available 14-17 April.

4 Bon Vivant’s Shell Shocked has a shot of Baileys, Kahlúa and vodka served in an edible egg ‘cup’ (£7). There’s also the Get Laid, served in an elegant Martini glass filled with Nutella, Baileys, double cream and Frangelico (£9), and the Chocolate Chick mocktail, a mix of coconut milk, vanilla ice cream and white chocolate syrup, topped with chocolate chips and coconut flakes (£5).

5 Mixologists at Late Night London, which has over 40 venues across London, have crafted the Absolut Mini-Egg Martini. the indulgent boozy creation includes Absolut Vanilla, Baileys, Double Cream and Chocolate Sauce with crushed mini-eggs on top. There’s also a Spring Spritz (Beefeater gin, Triple Sec, Absolut Citron vodka, elderflower cordial, topped with soda), Spring In Your Step (Bacardi Oro, Absolut Raspberri vodka, Chambord, Cranberry Juice, topped with ginger ale and raspberries), and the Sugar Rush mocktail (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, cranberry juice, and elderflower cordial).

6 The Cinnamon Club’s Nutty about Easter is a creamy chocolatey cocktail with Amaretto, vodka, Cacao liqueur and a Frangelico cream. They’re also serving up an Easter Martini (Xolato chocolate gin, raspberry infused vermouth, lavender bitters) and a Hot Cross Bunny (Bacardi Oro, spice liqueur, cinnamon, egg). Priced £10.50-£15. Check out their four-course Easter menu with sharing sides, too, priced £50pp. Available 10-16 April (closed Easter Monday).

7 Christopher’s has also gone for the cocktail in an Easter Egg treat – the Easter Bunny’s Ruin, with Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum, simple syrup, vanilla syrup and egg yolk (£14). Available from 14-17 April, when you can also dine on Christopher’s Easter specials: Hot Cross French Toast on the brunch menu (a twist on the classic with lashings of chocolate and matcha ice cream, £10, from 11.30-3.30pm) and the Triple Chocolate Eggs (three chocolate eggs – dark, golden and white, to be devoured in stages, £16 for two to share) from the a la carte menu.

8 Quaglino’s is celebrating Easter with a pop-up Russian vodka and caviar bar inspired by Fabergé. Choose from four limited-edition cocktails made with Russian vodka Stolichnaya Elit and inspired by Fabergé’s fine jewellery collection – The Imperial, The Rococo, The Heritage and The Fabergé. There will also be a decadent menu, including Quaglino’s list of caviar, and an artistic egg sculpture celebrating the heritage of the iconic artist jeweller, which dates back to 1842. Available 7-21 April.

9 Las Iguanas has crafted the Chocolate Batida (£9.75), made with the restaurant’s very own Magnifica Cachaça, chocolate, condensed milk and garnished Mini Eggs. Also on the Las Iguanas Hot List for spring are the Kimono Kaip (Las Iguanas Magnifica Cachaça, Japanese citrus), Berri Mule (Absolut Berri Acai, Vodka, Funkin raspberry), and the refreshing Rum Runner (Havana Club 3 Year Old Rum, blackberry, banana, pineapple). The best bit? They’re all 2-For-1 during Happy Hour!
